Negotiable interest rates allow bankers to negotiate and adjust rates based on customer or member needs. Banks and credit unions can set configurable parameters for their bankers to operate within to ensure they provide the most competitive rate to their customers and enhance the institution’s return on investment. With MANTL’s negotiable rates product, institutions can configure interest rate increments for products, receive real-time calculations of APY based on negotiated rates, and document the reason for the rate change in the account profile.
